Questions

Whole Home Remodeling FAQ

How long does a whole home remodel take?
Most full-home remodels run 4–8 months of construction depending on square footage and how much structural or exterior work is involved. Design, selections and permitting beforehand typically add 2–4 months. You get a written schedule broken down by phase before demolition starts.
Do we need to move out?
For a true whole-home project most clients move out, because power, water and flooring are affected across the house. If staying is important to you, we can phase the work so part of the home stays livable — it takes longer overall, so we'll walk you through the trade-off honestly.
Can you do everything, or do we hire separate trades?
Everything. Design, permits, structural work, plumbing, electrical, cabinetry, tile, flooring, paint and exteriors are all managed by us under one contract, with one point of contact. You never coordinate between companies or get caught between them.
How do you keep a project this large on budget?
With a detailed written estimate broken down by line item before we start, selections locked in during the design phase rather than mid-build, and a written change order for anything that shifts. Surprises on large projects almost always come from decisions made late — we front-load them.
